Course Content
To be awarded the Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology, competency must be achieved in thirty six (36 ) units of competency.
- three (3 ) core units of competency
- thirty three (33 ) elective units of competency, as specified below.
- a minimum of twenty seven (27 ) elective units of competency from Group A
- a maximum of six (6 ) elective units of competency from Group B, drawn from any combination of:
- units not already chosen from Group A
- relevant units available in this Training Package, other endorsed Training Packages and accredited courses, where those units are aligned to Certificate II, III and IV qualifications
- a maximum of eighteen (18 ) elective units may be selected from units aligned to Certificate II qualifications
- a maximum of two (2 ) elective units may be selected from units aligned to Certificate IV qualifications.
